Jaq Chartier attended Syracuse University for film, and then obtained her BFA in painting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her MFA in painting from the University of Washington, Seattle.

She was a Joan Mitchell Foundation Award nominee, a Creative Capital Grant finalist, and a finalist for the 2011 Contemporary Northwest Art Award at the Portland Art Museum. Her awards include an Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship, a Purchase Award from the Portable Works Collection of Seattle Public Utilities, and a Seattle Art Museum Betty Bowen PONCHO Special Recognition Award. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Tacoma Art Museum, Oregon State University in Corvallis, Microsoft, The Allen Institute, Google Cloud Collection, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and most recently collected by the Esbjerg Museum in Denmark.

She lives and works in Seattle, WA

Emily Gherard (b. 1979), is a Seattle-based painter, draughtsman, printmaker, and is best known for her process-based work built from the accumulation of repetitive marks. Gherard earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, and an MFA from the University of Washington Seattle, WA. She received the 2024 Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Biennial Grant and the 2021 Joan Mitchell Fellowship and is a 2024 MacDowell Fellow.

She has participated in exhibitions at The Museum of Northwest Art, La Conner, WA, The Whatcom Museum, Bellingham, WA, and The Henry Art Gallery, Seattle, WA.

In addition, her work can be found in numerous collections, such as the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Swedish Medical Center, and Microsoft Permanent Collection. Gherard currently lives and works in Seattle, WA.

Stone received her BFA in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking from Iowa State University, and her MFA in Painting from the University of Washington.

She has exhibited at Boise Art Museum; Boston University Art Gallery; Center on Contemporary Art, Seattle; Kansas City Art Institute; Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art; Mass Art, Boston; McNay Museum of Art, San Antonio; Missoula Art Museum; Schneider Museum, Ashland; Sun Valley Center, Ketchum; University of Akron; University of Richmond; Washington State Convention Center; and Watcom Museum of Art. Her commissioned public artworks include projects for the GSA's Art in Architecture Program, Washington State Arts Commission, The City of Seattle, Cleveland Clinic, Michigan State University, and corporate clients including ConocoPhillips and Microsoft.
